Mission

Our mission as Ambassadors is to aid and represent the University by serving students and families, conducting ourselves as role models based on integrity and professionalism, and presenting a positive impression of LSU in all capacities. We will strive to become the best individuals possible and to inspire others to achieve. We will hold ourselves to the highest standards in our efforts to become open-minded leaders, effective communicators, and considerate team players.

Goal

The primary purpose of the organization shall be to promote spirit and unity among LSU students and to provide service to both the LSU community and local communities. The Ambassadors organization is designed to assist all members in maximizing their personal, social, and professional growth. 

Commitment to Community

Ambassadors are dedicated to giving back to both Louisiana State University and the Greater Baton Rouge Area as a whole. By recognizing that community extends past campus, Ambassadors can offer a more holistic sense of community. Part of the service aspect of the Ambassadors experience is education. By learning and recognizing the needs of the greater community, Ambassadors can most effectively volunteer and meet the needs of numerous organizations and projects.

Ambassadors participate in numerous service events throughout the school year to give back to the community. These events include the St Bernard Project, Live2Serve , Dance Marathon at LSU, Companion Animal Alliance, Geaux Big Baton Rouge, the LSU Food Pantry, Soles for Souls, and more! Ambassadors recognize the importance of service in creating a brighter community.
